The Holding Hope Programs
At the Holding Hope Foundation, we believe that support comes in many forms: sometimes it’s funding for life-changing education, sometimes it’s a gesture of kindness during a difficult week, and sometimes it’s making sure a child feels prepared and celebrated during special times of the year.
Our programs are designed to meet protective parents and their children where they are, offering resources that foster empowerment, resilience, and lasting recovery.
Together, these programs form a safety net of care, education, and kindness, wrapping protective parents and their children in the support they need to heal and thrive.

Trauma-informed healing modalities such as reiki, somatic work, or mindfulness programs

Our Scholarship Program provides financial assistance for parents to access trauma-informed therapeutic programs which strengthens the bond between parent and child and offers vital education on domestic abuse.

We know that even small acts of kindness can bring light in difficult times. Our Flower & Encouragement Program sends flowers or small gifts to protective parents during challenging moments, whether it’s a court date, the anniversary of a difficult event, or a milestone in their healing journey.
These gestures are a reminder that protective parents and their children are seen, valued, and never alone.

Through our Hope Blooms Project, the Holding Hope Foundation delivers flowers and encouragement to protective parents on some of the hardest days of their journey, such as court dates and other critical moments. Back-to-School & Holiday Gift Drives

For families impacted by domestic abuse, back-to-school season and the holidays can bring added financial and emotional strain. Our Gift Drives ensure that children start the school year prepared and celebrate the holidays with joy and dignity.
We Provide:
Back-to-School Supplies & Essentials – backpacks, notebooks, lunch boxes, art supplies
Holiday Gifts – toys, books, warm clothing, and special items chosen with care
For protective parents, these drives are more than just gifts, they are proof that their community stands beside them.

Eligibility & Application Process
Protective parents who demonstrate financial need and have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse or coercive control.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis by our Scholarship Committee. Scholarship awards may cover a portion or all of the Protective Parenting Program tuition fees. Each individual scholarship is determined by the Scholarship Committee.
